Medspa Legal & Legislation > RF skin tightening

I'm a master cosmetology also a laser certified living in Georgia and working in a hair salon in skincare field. I want to add RF skin Tightening to my services. Does anybody knows what is requirment or do I need to have a medical director. I heard that RF is not counting as a medical divice and anybody that is certified can do that, is that cirrect?
Thanks

"The practice of medicine" in Georgia is broadly defined, basically as diagnosing, treating, recommending, or prescribing any form of treatment for the relief or cure of any disease, defect or injury. I would guess that RF treatment would involve lasers, which require physician supervision if used for anything other than laser hair removal or pulsed light devices. I can't offer legal advice in this format, but my initial impression of this question is that RF skin tightening is probably the practice of medicine, and would at least require physician supervision, if the procedure did not actually have to be performed by a physician.
