Medical Spa Medspa Advertising Marketing > Cheap Medical Spa Advertisement Ideas?

I just started renting (medical spa) space with a doctor. I am currently offering chemical peels, micro, facials and waxing. I need to do some medical spa advertisement ideas that are cheap and effective, can somebody please give me some ideas. I just send out fliers giving $40.00 off for their first treatment.

Cheap advertising won't get you anything but cheap results. This business is expensive.

If you are going to advertise, make sure you use spell check.

I agree with Alan.
The best way to attract new clients, in our experience, has been online (imho).
Get a content rich, Search Engine Optimized website.
Target Google AdWords to specific pages on your website.

Get an account on LinkedIn.
Get a Facebook Fan page for your business.
Then use them.
Do not waste your money on direct mail and excessive discounts.

Let me know if you have any questions.
Good luck!

Hi,

You say that you are in a physician's office so you must use what you have-that is his/her patients. So, you need to have a poster display or a flat screen TV with videos on your procedures in the waiting room---go to Displays2go.com and buy a poster display and have a poster designed (cheap way is to use Guru.com to find a designer), then go to staples and have it printed. The second way is to put ONE ad in the paper that says you are giving FREE/COMPLIMENTARY facials for one day only-you will get many takers and some will come back. Good Luck.

I think you can use social media i.e. Facebook Fan Pages, This forum, Linkedin, etc... BUT I also think you have to pay for advertising. I have found that mailers with gift cards or free consultations have worked wonders. Also, the best advertisment is yourself. Be available to your client's, listen to them and give them as much as you would expect to be given yourself.

It's very tough because measuring results is so difficult. If you can't measure the results of your advertising then how do you improve them?

Try putting a different local number on each outlet of advertising you do. This way you can track who called from your fliers who heard you on the radio and who came from the site. if you can see where the most phone calls come from then you can allocate marketing dollars more effectively.

Who cares how many people saw the flier - heard the ad etc. And relying on people saying "oh i saw you guys online" isn't accountable.

Submit your website to Google Webmaster Account; remember to verify you are the owner of the website; Submit your sitemap to the Goole Webmater Account. It's all free. Your website designer can help on this.

Word of mouth referrals are the most effective form of marketing. Since some time has passed since you first posted this request, have you considered setting up a referral program with your clients?

Another effective tool, when a client says 'thank you' and comments on your great service/product, ask for a testimonial or their email address. Using their email address, send an email prompting them to post an online review of your services on a review website. It will show up along with your Google Place Page so people will see it as they search for your services.
