IPL & Laser Treatments > Laser hair removal 1064 (highest, safe setting)

I am interested in knowing how high is everyone going for the LHR settings. Lighter hair (light brown/red) requires higher settings to heat up the hair and destroy the follicle. I have gone up to 110J, PW of 10-25msec and temp of 15 degrees. There was no side-effect, but I am still having difficulty getting a good result. Should I be more aggressive? How much higher can I go without causing harm to the skin? I know a small percentage of people are "non-responders", but I still feel that as long as there is some pigment, that I should be able to get more of a reduction. I have also tried adding combo BBL 640 with the settings of 17J/15msec/15 degrees without much change. Thanks for your input.

P:lease try to understand that NO MATTER HOW MUCH YOU LEARN FROM OTHER PEOPLE THAT IS THEIR EXPERIENCE. YOUR PATIENT OR CLIENT IS A DIFFERENT PERSON THAN ANY OF THE OTHERS REPORTED ON.
THEREFORE, EACH CASE IS AN EXPERIMENT FOR YOU. THERE IS NO WAY TO PREDICT IN ADVANCE HOW YOUR PATIENT IS GOING TO RESPOND. THAT IS NOT TAUGHT IN ANY CLASSES.
