Cynosure: Elite, Affirm, Cynergy & Smartlipo > Cynosure Elite Settings for leg veins

I own a Medspa in South Florida and we acquired another MedSpa with a Cynosure Elite. We've been using it for laser hair but now want to use the YAG for leg/facial veins. Does anyone have a training manual or documentation for this service. Also, is this really any good for Veins. We had a Palomar YAG but it was just ok for veins.

FYM: If you provide your contact information I can send you some helpful information. The long pulsed Nd:YAG is the only laser - to my knowledge - that is generally acknowledged to be excellent for treating leg veins (especially when used in conjunction with sclerotherapy).

Please email the info to and I greatly appreciate the offer to help.

Let me know if you need more info. I have a trainer who wrote the clinicals on the Apogee Elite as well as other Cynosure Lasers. I have the clinical guide that was written by them for that laser and was given with training.

I can also help you with any and all parts you need, including flash lamps service, windows, handpiece rebuilds and chiller service and parts. I have other customers in Florida as well.

Good luck.

Thank You
Leon Liebl

Thank you for your offer and I would love to have that info. I've heard that it's not the greatest YAG for leg veins but with the proper settings can be used effectively. If you could please email that info to or fax to 866-314-4808 I'd really appreciate it. I've also enjoyed reading your posts and when our Elite needs service we will give you a call.

Could you please forward any info you have regarding the elite on spider veins and if possible on pigmented lesions. I also purchased another spa & with it this equipment. I have the small manual that came with it but do not find that it is detailed enough. Thanks very much. Please email me at, I would appreciate it very much. Thanks

Is it possible to receive any info you have on the Cynosure Elite via email?? I am new to a practice that utilizes the Elite, and the manual they have contains limited info. I'd appreciate any help you can give.
Thanks so much! :)

Hi Leon,
Well look what you started! I used to train for Cynosure and LOVE my Elite. However, I am just curious as to any info I may not have. Would you be able to forward your most up to date suggested parameters?
Thank you so much!
